HOLIDAY WORKSHOPS

Our popular Holiday Program is jammed packed with workshops to ignite imagination, exploration and creativity whilst expanding skills, having fun and even making new friends!

Our workshops offer a diverse range of art processes and techniques inspired by various artists, styles, and themes.

Drawing, painting, ceramics, sculpting, textiles, and mixed media techniques are on offer where we provide opportunities to engage in traditional art forms, allowing artists to discover and develop their own creative styles.

During break times, artists can explore art prompts, stations, and games to add fun and spontaneity to the workshops while also relaxing and recharging. Our workshops foster a dynamic and supportive community where artists can learn, grow, and connect with fellow creatives.

Each day of the Holiday Workshops we will explore a different theme, artist or inspiration.

Over each session, a range of artworks may be created, depending on each artist and their work style.

We do encourage artist input so if they have photographs or images they wish to bring in from home, please do so.

ADULT PARTICIPATION & ADULT WORKSHOPS:

  • Parental attendance is required for Little Artists sessions.

  • Kinder Artists and Big Artists sessions are Drop Off only, unless listed with an * and stated ADULTS WELCOME where adults are also required to book for the session.

  • Tips For Settling In
Regular routines and faces are key factors in establishing trust with our little ones. Each child adapts differently to a new environment. From my knowledge as a teacher, a parent myself, and feedback from parents, it generally takes 3-4 weeks for a toodler and our younger primary aged children to settle in. It is best not to force your younger child to participate. Discuss what will happen, meet and greet the teacher/s and let them know the situation. For our under 5's, sit behind them or with them and be part of the creating process. For our older students in our drop off programs, please get in touch via email as we Child Health and Safety Guidelines we must adhere to.
  • Family Discount
If you have two or more budding artists, please get in touch for the family discount. Some programs may be excluded from discounts.
  • Parent Attendance
Each program will outline if a parental attendance is required. Most school aged programs are drop off. All artists attending the TINY ARTISTS Programs must be accompanied by a parent/carer.
  • Waiting Lists
Please join our Subscribers email to find out the latest.
  • What is Processed Art?
Processed Art is about the actual making and creating journey that takes place. It is not focused on the end product. Through learning about the process, students become skilled fine artists. Take a closer look at OUR VISION and why we stand by it.
  • Do I have to stay? Can I stay?
PRIMARY SCHOOL - HIGH SCHOOL - KINDER ART WORKSHOPS All classes are strictly drop-off only due to child safety laws, unless it is stated that ADULTS WELCOME TO JOIN. This means adults are welcome to participate in the workshop too with their child/ren. Adults are charged at student prices. Again, adults can only stay where it is stipulated on the Timetable and all adults need to pay too. If you need to stay for some reason for a workshop that does not state ADULTS WELCOME TO JOIN, you must get in contact with Rachael to discuss as there are child safety laws we must follow. UNDER 5 YEARS (TINY ARTISTS) A parent or guardian MUST accompany any child/ren booked in for our Tiny Artist program. Your child may like to create independently or with you so your active involvement may be required. Enjoy creating side by side!!
