Our Artists will learn how to plan and record ideas and art learnings in a visual art journal and learn to manipulate and use various art materials. Artists will engage in various project work that make connections with their ideas, as well as art projects teachers may present to them. Projects may focus on a combination of art concepts or solely on one art form. We draw inspiration from local and famous artists as we learn about different art forms and how art is created. During each session, artists will be mentored depending on their skill level and group discussion and feedback will given.

DRAWING CLUB & ANIME

9 - 14 years

Drop Off

Tuesday: 4:00pm - 5:30pm

Term 4: 10 weeks (Nov 5th public holiday)

Drawing Club (+ Anime) is designed for those artists wanting to enhance their drawing skills. This class extends artists in various technical drawing areas and encompassing figurative drawing with a focus on dynamic facial and body drawing, including animal body art.

Various art principals and elements will be explored to develop backgrounds, staging and story board scripts and much more. Grey scale and colour will be explored and various methods of colour application will be shared. Over the course of the term, artists will learn how to market and sell their artworks and as a collective group in discussions with parents, we will distribute any funds accordingly.

So why is there a +Anime part?
Dynamic and figurative drawing helps Anime artists with their creating. For those artists that are not keen on Anime, don't worry, you don't have to focus on this area, we just know that the two go together and we have a large following of Anime Artists.
